Dr. Emilie Mojica joined Consulting Ophthalmologists in 2015. She graduated with a Biology degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry where she earned honors in her clinical coursework. As a student, she practiced in a variety of settings including VA Connecticut Healthcare, The Illinois Eye Institute, the Nevada VA hospital and the Queens College in Melbourne, Australia.

Upon graduation, she was accepted into a residency at the Perry Point, Maryland VA Medical Center, specializing in primary care and ocular disease. During her residency training, she gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide span of diseases. Dr. Mojica’s training focused on cornea/contact lens, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and cataracts.

Dr. Mojica is passionate about eye care and problem-solving. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, spoiling her rescue dog and exploring the adventures New England has to offer.
